The flat is on the first floor off the gallery hall and consists of a bedroom, cosy sitting room with kitchen area and bathroom. Antique furniture, contemporary artworks and momentos from Shirley’s travels give a homely feel, with deeply comfortable beds and everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is private and quiet: the bedroom and sitting room look out onto the mature, secluded garden with a 90-year-old wisteria covering the walls, lawns and flower beds leading to woodland at the far end - guests are welcome to wander and relax in this lovely space.
The basics, including a range of teas, coffee and fresh milk are there for you in the kitchen. In the morning Shirley brings a tray with fresh local organic eggs, fruit salad, homemade cakes and artisan bread (as well as a newspaper if requested) for you to have in the flat at leisure. If you wish to stay in during the evening, there are facilities for you to cook a meal, although both village pubs offer excellent food and there are good restaurants locally. (see Guide)
The accommodation is designed for one or two adults only and is not suitable for infants, children or pets.

The Details
The flat consists of one bedroom (18 sq.m) which can be made up as twin beds or a 6ft double on request; a sitting room with kitchen run (24 sq.m) and bathroom with bath and powerful shower (9 sq.m).
You will find crisp cotton sheets, generous bath towels, bathrobes and lovely Bramley toiletries. There is a TV, radio and hairdryer in the flat, access to wi-fi, lots of local information, laundry and iron on request. Plus, of course, essential safety and first aid equipment.
